Abstract:
Provided is a local exhaust device. The present invention includes a motor member for generating rotational driving force when power is supplied; a swirler fan having a plurality of vortex generating blades which are formed on the lower surface of a rotation plate which is connected to a driving shaft of the motor member, such that the swirler generates vortex flows for forming a suction area at the lower portion of the rotation plate so as to suck external air from the lower portion to an upper portion; and an exhaust pipe having a suction hole which is penetratingly formed in a predetermined size at the end of an inlet corresponding to the swirler fan. The exhaust fan has a vortex control section, wherein the vortex control section controls the outer diameter of the suction area caused by the vortex flows, which are generated by the swirler fan, to decrease from the end of the inlet of the exhaust pipe towards the center of the exhaust pipe such that the entire length of the suction area becomes longer.
