Disclosed is a location-based electric power management system comprising: an electric power management server; an access point capable of communicating with the electric power management server and having an address and an ID; an electric power measurement device connected to the access point and having an ID; and a user terminal connectable to the access point and capable of communicating with the electric power management server, wherein the electric power management server comprises: an event transmission unit for transmitting an electric power management event message to the user terminal; and an information receiving unit for receiving, from the user terminal, user adjustment information and address and ID information of the access point to which the user terminal is connected.
