Abstract:
A location positioning system (1) comprises one or more illumination devices (101) and a control device (400). The control device (400) transmits, to each of the one or more illumination devices (101), transmission instruction information instructing whether the transmission from the illumination device of a beacon signal to be used in location positioning of a signal reception device is to be turned on or off. Each of the one or more illumination devices intermittently transmits the beacon signal if the transmission instruction information that has been transmitted instructs that the transmission of the beacon signal is to be turned on.
