Abstract:
The present invention relates to a lock assembly used for a foldable bicycle, and more specifically, to a lock assembly for a foldable bicycle which can simply couple and decouple a foldable support bar of a bicycle. The present invention provides a foldable bicycle including a support frame on which a front wheel is mounted and a foldable frame on which a rear wheel is mounted, wherein the foldable bicycle comprises: a pair of fixing plates which are installed at one side of the support frame opposite one another at a predetermined interval with a connection hole formed through the inside thereof; a lock member of a predetermined length which is disposed between the fixing plates, which includes a wing part protruding to the outside at the middle of the length thereof, and the left and right sides of which are inserted into the connection hole and either end of which is coupled to a button part and to a cover part, respectively; an elastic member which is supported by the outer side of the fixing plate at one side thereof, which is supported by the button part at another side thereof, and which thus allows the lock member to be slidably moved by elastic force; and a support bar which is connected to the foldable frame at the lower end thereof, and includes a coupling part in order for the wing part to be caught by/separated from the upper portion thereof. When pushing the button part, the lock member is slidably moved to release the wing part from the coupling part, and thus the support bar is separated from the lock member.
