Abstract:
A lock bolt device capable of being repeatedly used, easily screwed initially into a screw hole, and surely locked by a stress automatically applied thereto in a shearing direction at the time of final tightening, comprising a set screw (2) having outer threads formed in the outer peripheral surface thereof and a lock bolt (1) having outer threads of the same pitch as that of the outer threads of the set screw (2) formed in the outer peripheral surface thereof and having an axial tip part connected to the axial base end part of the set screw (2), wherein a conical protruded part (3) is formed on one of the axial base end part of the set screw (2) and the axial tip part of the lock bolt (1), a first recessed part (6) fitted to the protruded part (3) is formed in the other, and the outer peripheral surface of the protruded part (3) and the inner peripheral surface of the first recessed part (6) are slightly eccentric from each other.
