Abstract:
This lock management system includes: a switching device capable of switching the state of a lock target between a locked state and an unlocked state; a writing device that writes authentication information to a first storage region of a first RFID tag on the basis of use schedule information relating to the lock target; and a reading device that is connected to the switching device, reads the authentication information returned from the first RFID tag by using the energy of a radiated electromagnetic wave, and causes the switching device to switch the state of the lock target if authentication based on the read authentication information is successful.
