Abstract:
A lock nut which can be tightened with a single touch, can be fixed easily by tightening
to a member to be tightened, and does not loosen after being tightened. The lock
nut comprises a nut body (2) internally provided with a bolt insertion hole (5)
for receiving an inserted bolt (30) and one or more recesses (6) for a screw piece
having a slide face (9) inclining in the direction away from the bolt insertion
hole (5) along the inserting direction of the bolt, the screw piece (3) provided
in the recess (6) for a screw piece to slide on the slide face (9) while being locked
in the nut body (2) and detachably engaging the bolt (30), and a member (4) provided
inside the nut body (2) or at the screw piece (3), for generating frictional force
between the screw piece (3) and the bolt by biting into the bolt (30) through engagement
of the screw piece (3) with the bolt (30).
