Abstract:
Disclosed is a lock system of a device using FIDO authentication, the lock system comprising: an input terminal into which a biometric FIDO authentication system, registered with a cloud-based relying party, is inserted; an agent which, when the biometric FIDO authentication system is inserted in the input terminal and biometric data of a user registered with the relying party therefrom is inputted, receives the authentication message from the biometric FIDO authentication system and attempts a FIDO authentication with the relying party, and, if an authentication response is received, then generates a lock release signal; and an operational control unit which, when the lock release signal is received, releases the lock to allow operation of the device.
