Title:
LOCK-UP DEVICE FOR TORQUE CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/140938
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a lock-up device for a torque converter, configured so that vibration caused by a coiled spring can be reliably reduced. This lock-up device (7) is provided with an input rotating member (71), an output rotating member (85), a first torsion spring (74), a second torsion spring (83), and a third torsion spring (84). The output rotating member (85) can rotate relative to the input rotating member (71). The first torsion spring (74) receives torque transmitted from the input rotating member (71). The second torsion spring (83) is disposed on the inner peripheral side of the first torsion spring (74) in the radial direction and acts in series with the first torsion spring (74). The third torsion spring (84) is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the second torsion spring (83) in the radial direction, acts in series with the second torsion spring (83), and transmits torque to the output rotating member (85).
