The purpose of the present invention is to set multi-stage torsion characteristics for a lock-up device, and to reduce hysteresis torque of the lock-up device. This lock-up device is provided with: an input rotational member; an output rotational member; a plurality of first coil springs (55); second coil springs (65); and a float member (50). The output rotational member is disposed at both sides of the input rotational member in an axial direction, and is capable of rotating relative to the input rotational member. The plurality of first coil springs (55) are inwardly disposed in a radial direction. The plurality of first coil springs (55) are compressed in series by rotation of the input rotational member relative to the output rotational member, and, as a result, torque is inputted from the input rotational member. The second coil springs (65) are compressed in cases when the input rotational member and the output rotational member rotate relatively at at least a prescribed relative angle. The float member (50) is inwardly disposed in the radial direction with respect to the first coil springs (55), and couples the plurality of first coil springs (55) in series.
