Abstract:
The present invention provides a locking device capable of locking a gimbal mechanism with a sufficient force and having a simpler structure than conventional locking devices. The locking mechanism includes: a driven object-side pressing portion 31 that presses a first holding portion 4 from the side where a driven object 1 exists; a force transmitting portion 36 that transmits a tensile force as a force of the driven object-side pressing portion 31 pressing the first holding portion 4; a fixed member-side pressing portion 37 that presses the first holding portion 4 from the side where a fixed member 6 exists; a support portion 38 fixed to the fixed member 6; a link 39 that is connected to the force transmitting portion 36, the support portion 38, and the fixed member-side pressing portion 37 in a rotatable manner and moves the fixed member-side pressing portion 37 toward the first holding portion 4 when the force transmitting portion 36 moves away from the first holding portion 4; and a locking force generating portion 35 that generates a tensile force and locks the first holding portion 4 by sandwiching the same between the driven object-side pressing portion 31 and the fixed member-side pressing portion 37 to prevent the first holding portion 4 from moving against the fixed member 6.
