Abstract:
A locking device having a lock body, a shaft member supported by the lock body, dial
rings rotatable about the shaft member, and an engagement member to which the
dial rings directly engage. The lock body has a body shaft hole into which the shaft
member is inserted and also has a body side groove or a body side hole into which
the shaft member is inserted. The shaft member and the lock body are joined together
with screw threads and the engagement member is placed straddling the shaft member
and the lock body, rendering the shaft member not to be rotatable. As a result,
drawing the shaft member out of the locking device is limited so that the shaft
member can be drawn out of the locking device only when it is unlocked.
