Abstract:
Systems, methods and associated devices for locking a tensioning element, such as a bridging element, suture, wire or string, during a medical procedure, such as placement of a medical implant in a subject are provided herein. The systems, methods and devices described herein are particularly useful for delivery and deployment of heart implants for reshaping a heart valve annulus for treatment of a heart disorder, such as mitral valve regurgitation.
