Abstract:
The present invention relates to a locking device for a tempered-glass door, wherein a control unit for the locking device is not installed on the outside of the tempered-glass door, but rather the control unit for the locking device is installed only on the inside of the tempered-glass door, such that a third party cannot willfully damage or destroy the locking device or unlock the door from the outside. The locking device comprises an input unit main body (100) and a door-locking part main body (200). The input unit main body (100) comprises: a touchpad (110) installed on a side surface thereof and including a number input unit (111) and a card-reading unit (112); a transparent sensor (120) installed on an outer side thereof; an actuator button (130) and an on/off switch (140) installed on a reverse surface thereof; and a power supply (150) provided on a selected side thereof and having a circuit board and control unit installed therein. The door-locking part main body (200) comprises: a light-receiving sensor (210) installed on an outer side thereof so as to maintain a certain distance from the input unit main body and receive a signal from the transparent sensor; a locking means actuator (230) on an inner side thereof for actuating a locking means (220) according to a signal from the light-receiving sensor; and a power supply (240) for supplying power to the locking means actuator. The input unit main body and the door-locking part main body are installed within a tempered-glass door (300) so as to maintain a certain distance therebetween. From between the input unit main body and the door-locking part main body, the touchpad of the input unit main body is installed to closely contact an inner surface of the tempered-glass door, and the light-receiving sensor of the door-locking part main body is installed opposite the transparent sensor at the top of the tempered glass door.
