Abstract:
Provided is a locking device having a structure in which an electric drive part (10) and a body portion (20) are each unitized, the electric drive part (10) having a drive motor (drive device) (12) and a slider (first input member) (18) linearly driven by the drive motor (12), and the body portion (20) having a first motion conversion mechanism (23) for converting the linear movement of the slider (18) into the forward-backward movement of a dead bolt (22) and a second motion conversion mechanism (25) for converting the rotational motion of a hub gear (second input member) (24) into the forward-backward movement of the dead bolt (22), and the slider (18) is detachably connected to a link plate (29) of the first motion conversion mechanism (23). As a result, the locking device can be used as an electric lock in the usual mode, and when the slider (18) is detached from the link plate (29), the body portion (20) is separated from the electric drive part (10), whereby the locking device can be used as a mechanical lock.
