Abstract:
The invention relates to a telescopic handle (1), where said handle comprises an outer elongated hollow member (2) with a grip part (6), and where said outer member slideably receives an end of an inner elongated member (3), whereby a part of said inner member extends out of said outer hollow member. The length of said telescopic handle can be adjusted by sliding said inner member within said outer member, thereby changing the length of said part of the inner member extending out of said outer member. The telescopic handle further comprises a locking mechanism, which, when activated, fixates said inner member in a specific position relative to the outer member. The locking mechanism comprises a locking part for fixating said inner member in a specific position relative to the hollow member when said locking mechanism is activated and a deactivation part (4) for deactivating said locking mechanism. The locking part is fixed relative to said outer member, and said locking mechanism is activated when said locking part is fixating said inner member because of engagement of engagement means of said locking part with the surface of said inner member. The deactivation part is positioned at the grip part of said telescopic handle and connected to said locking part, whereby said deactivation part deactivates the locking mechanism when pressured in a direction substantially parallel to the telescopic handle.
