Abstract:
The main solution is a locking nut set (10), which is obtained from a base nut (20) and a torque nut (40) and is structured as follows: For the base nut (20), the outer surface is a regular hexagonal prism (21) and the axis (24) at the center thereof has a formed female thread (22). The lower end face (23) of the regular hexagonal prism (21) is a plane that is perpendicular to the axis (24). The upper end face (25) has a protruding surface, in which: at least half of the circumference is concentric with and has a radius (RBB) that is smaller than an imaginary contact circle (64), which is roughly perpendicular to the bolt shaft (63) and has a radius (RA), by a clearance (s); on the remaining portion, a rib-shaped inclined cam (26), the radius (RCC) of which is even smaller than the radius (RBB) and which contacts the imaginary contact circle (64) and is continuous with the radius (RBB), is formed; and the imaginary contact circle (64)-contacting section of the inclined cam (26) in an axial cross-section has a radius (RD). A conventional product is used for the torque nut (40). After first tightening the base nut (20) on the bolt (60) to generate a desired axial force (PT), the torque nut (40) is tightened.
