Abstract:
Provided is a locking and unlocking device with a dial lock which can easily be installed between a case and an opening/closing member and operates reliably so that the locking and unlocking of the opening/closing member is appropriately conducted through a simple operation. When a door (2) is in the closed position and a dial lock (3) is in the non-aligned state, a locked state in which an engaging member (21) is engaged with an engaged member (11) is maintained. After the dial lock (3) has been aligned, the engaging member (21) is moved to an unlocked state by the operation of an operating member (22), the engagement with the engaged member (11) is released, and the dial lock (3) is reset to the non-aligned state. When the door (2) is closed again, the device automatically reverts to the locked state in which the engaging member (21) is engaged with the engaged member (11).
