Abstract:
A driving ring (13) is fixed to a clutch plate (11) in a lockup clutch, and provided with a spring seat, a rim (13a) and a support wall (17) between which damper springs (15, 16) are held in the radial direction of the ring (13). The claw portions (23) of a driven ring (14) are arranged on the spring seat. The free end portion of the rim (13a) is bent radially inward to form a stopper portion (13b) for the damper springs. The base end section of the stopper portion (13b) is disposed in a position which is on the radially inner side of cylindrical eaves (11a) formed at the outer circumferential portion of the clutch plate (11), and which is not on the axially outer side of the same eaves (11a).
