Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lockup device for a fluid coupling, the lockup device being configured so that vibration caused by coiled springs can be reliably suppressed. A lockup device (7) is provided with input rotating members (30, 31), an output rotating member (35), first elastic members (32), and a float member (42). The first elastic members (32) are compressed in the rotational direction by the relative rotation between the input rotating members and the output rotating member. The float member (42) is disposed on the input rotating members (30, 31) in a relatively rotatable manner so that two first elastic members (32) act in series in the circumferential direction.
