Abstract:
The present invention relates to a building information model visualization technique, and relates to an LOD-based BIM model lightweight construction and display method and system. The method comprises: generating a BIM model according to an LOD rule, and dividing building component elements, which need to be rendered and displayed, into a plurality of LOD levels, wherein the distance from a viewpoint to an edge of a bounding box of the BIM model is taken as a basis for the setting of the levels; converting data of the BIM model in the levels into a binary data format, and compressing the BIM model; defining a configuration file, combining binary data of the BIM model, and generating a layered binary data model; and rendering a three-dimensional model by combining a screen space error (SSE) and a loading mode of the current node. Therefore, the technical problem in the prior art, whereby the organization of three-dimensional data tiles does not meet actual scenario requirements during webpage rendering, such that the performance is wasted and the webpage decompression rendering performance is poor after the tiles are compressed, is solved.
