Provided are a log analysis system and method, and a recording medium, by which a factor resulting in a malfunction can be identified efficiently. The log analysis system has a variable value extraction unit for extracting a variable value that is included in a first log, the first log being one from among monitored logs and not coinciding with a format that is stored in a storage medium.
