Abstract:
A log for a log house and a wall structure of the log capable of securing a sufficient strength even at connection parts by largely taking a contact surface between the upper notch member and the lower notch member of the log crossing each other and firmly fitting the crossed logs to each other. The log (10) comprises, at both ends, the notch members (12) having the upper notch member (14) with an upward groove part, the lower notch member (15) with a downward groove part, and a connection part (42) between the upper notch member and the lower notch member. The upper notch member (14) comprises, at its center part, a projected part (18) extending in the longitudinal direction. Also, the groove part (30) of the lower notch member (15) has a longitudinal length aligned with at least the projected part (18) of the upper notch member (14).
