Abstract:
An LLR calculation unit is provided with: a range detection unit (211) that detects which range a reception signal after a modulo operation falls in among a plurality of ranges determined on the basis of a boundary value in the modulo operation; a coefficient determination unit (212) that determines, on the basis of a detection result from the range detection unit (211), coefficients to be used in calculation of a log-likelihood ratio of the most significant bit in quadrature amplitude modulation of the reception signal after the modulo operation; and an LLR computation unit (213) that computes the log-likelihood ratio of the most significant bit using the reception signal after the modulo operation and the coefficients.
