Abstract:
A log-polar space-based image object size and rotation estimation calculation method, comprising: inputting an image to be measured and a template image, and performing log-polar coordinate transformation on the image to be measured; extracting features from the transformed object image to obtain a feature image; utilizing the extracted features to calculate, by means of a phase correlation method, a response diagram of the image object relative to the size and rotation change of the template image; calculating relative displacement by means of a response value in the perimeter zone of the maximum value in the response diagram and the coordinate position of the maximum value; and calculating the size and the rotation change of an object in the image to be measured relative to an object in the template image by means of the relative displacement. With the described method, log-polar space is used as an image operation space, so that the size and rotation change of an object are estimated effectively and quickly, thereby providing quick algorithm support for an upper layer application.
