Abstract:
A long-sheet transporting unit which can, even when supplying long sheets using sheet roll mounting platform cars, efficiently perform the conveyance work and store the long sheet in an automated warehouse.
A winding reel group composed of winding reels (10), on each of which a long sheet (S) is wound and which are stacked in stages while being prevented from rotating, is rotatably mounted on a sheet roll mounting platform car (20), and four such sheet roll mounting platform cars (20), on which the winding reel groups are mounted, are placed on a palette (30) at predetermined positions. The winding reel groups which are mounted on the respective sheet roll mounting platform cars (20) placed on the palette (30) are configured in such a manner that a retaining unit (40) which is attached to the palette (30) prevents the winding reels (10) at the upper positions from falling out.
