Abstract:

Provided is a long synthetic resin foamed body (1) comprising: a thermoplastic resin foamed particle base material (2); and a frame (3) which includes movement restriction parts (22) provided at both ends in the long side direction or the short side direction of the base material (2), and a connection part (23) that connects the movement restriction parts (22) to each other. The base material (2) has at least one joint constituting part (12) that divides the base material (2) into two or more base material portions (10, 11) in a direction intersecting the connection part (23). The joint constituting part (12) includes a deformable joint (5) that connects the two adjacent base material portions (10, 11) to each other, and that permits relative movement between the two adjacent base material portions (10, 11) when the base material (2) contracts or expands.
