A longitudinally joined assembly, wherein first and second joined members (1) and (6) in which engagement grooves (3a) and (8a) opening to abutted faces (4) and (9) and extending in the longitudinal direction are disposed in the state of being abutted on each other so that the engagement grooves (3a) and (8a) are aligned with each other. A longitudinally joining device (11) having screw holes (13) and (14) tilted so that the tip parts of stop screws (15) and (16) are directed toward the abutted faces (4) and (9) is inserted into the engagement grooves (3a) and (8a). A pressing force in a direction for abutting the first and second joined members (1) and (6) on each other is applied to the first and second joined members by tightening the stop screws (15) and (16) into the screw holes (13) and (14) with a joining tool inserted into screw mounting open grooves (3b) and (8b) so as to firmly join the joined members (1) and (6) to each other. The longitudinally joining device (11) and the stop screws (15) and (16) are not protruded to the outside.
