Abstract:
It is possible to effectively use storage resources. When a loss is caused in an arbitrary section of a periodical signal divided into predetermined sections and received in time series, the loss is compensated by a loss compensation device. The loss compensation device includes: a periodical signal storage unit for storing a periodical signal of one or more sections newly received for a predetermined period of time; a loss detection unit for detecting a loss of the periodical signal for each section; and an element periodical signal generation unit for generating a plurality of element periodical signals having different waveforms for interpolation, according to the periodical signal stored in the periodical signal storage unit at the moment of detection of the loss. A plurality of element periodical signals generated by the element periodical signal generation unit are synthesized and the synthesis result is arranged at the section where the loss of the periodical signal has occurred.
