Abstract:
A loudspeaker-based water level warning system and method. In the system, when the on-site water level of a particular water level telemetering station in a city where a water level warning platform is located is higher than a warning level, the water level warning platform (101) sending, by means of the Internet of Things (IoT), to an outdoor loudspeaker monitoring platform (102) position information of the water level telemetering station and the names of the streets surrounding the water level telemetering station; when it is determined that there is a target loudspeaker device (103) in a working state on said streets, the outdoor loudspeaker monitoring platform (102) sending, by means of the IoT, to the target loudspeaker device (103) a water level warning message comprising the position information of the water level telemetering station; the water level warning platform (101) reporting, by means of IoT, to a flood control center station a second notification message comprising the position information of the water level telemetering station; and the target loudspeaker device (103) outputting the water level warning message. Said loudspeaker-based water level warning system and method can provide timely and wide-ranging water level warnings, reducing disasters and losses caused to the city.
