Abstract:
The invention provides a Low-E glass plate protection method, whereby alteration of a Low-E layer may be prevented or suppressed. Provided is a Low-E glass plate protection method. This protection method for a Low-E glass plate involves pasting, via an adhesive layer, a protection sheet having a base material and the adhesive layer provided on at least one surface of the base material onto the Low-E layer of the Low-E glass plate equipped with the Low-E layer, which contains a zinc component, thereby protecting the Low-E glass plate. The method is characterized by using, as the protection sheet, a sheet wherein the adhesive layer is formed from a water dispersion type adhesive composition, and the ammonia content in the adhesive layer is less than 850 μg/g relative to the adhesive layer weight, as measured by hot water extraction.
