Abstract:
A low-carbon martensite stainless steel material for disc brake of a motorcycle, which contains 1.0 to 2,5% of Mn and 10.0 to 14.5% of Cr, with the content of (C + N) being controlled within the range of 0,04 to 0.10%. This material can have proper hardness, toughness and rust resistance required for the use by mere hardening starting from a wide range of hardening temperatures.
