Abstract:
According to an aspect of the present invention, there may be provided a low-dose radiation therapy system for the treatment of dementia and chronic inflammation according to a photon energy beam emission form, the low-dose radiation therapy system comprising: a low-dose radiation therapy device that forms, in the body of the device, a treatment bed on which a patient lies down and receives treatment and that forms, in the body of the device, a radiation gantry having a plurality of carbon nanotube ray sources mounted on the inner circumferential surface of an annular gate and radiating treatment radiation toward the body of the patient; and a control unit that checks the condition of the patient by using input patient information, sets a treatment direction, and then controls the operation of the low-dose radiation therapy device to perform radiation therapy, wherein the carbon nanotube ray sources of a pulsed beam type are mounted on the inner circumferential surface of the radiation gantry, and the control unit controls a beam on-off time of radiation of the carbon nanotube ray sources and a beam radiation interval of radiation between the carbon nanotube ray sources, wherein the beam radiation interval is controlled to a DNA repair time in which DNA damage in normal cells can be repaired.
