Provided is a feature with which it is possible to improve the bodily sensations of a user during treatment.　The low-frequency treatment apparatus according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a pad unit that is capable of supplying a low-frequency pulsed current to a contacted object; and an output unit that, during the supply of the low-frequency pulsed current by the pad unit, outputs light and/or sound synchronized with a change in the state of supply of the low-frequency pulsed current. For example, the low-frequency treatment apparatus according to one aspect of the present invention comprises a control unit that performs: a control over the supply of the low-frequency pulsed current by the pad unit; and a control over the outputting of light and/or sound by the output unit, said control being performed in conjunction with the control over the supply of the low-frequency pulsed current.
