Abstract:
A low noise pneumatic tire where, in separating the tire from a rim, a sound absorption material on the inner peripheral surface of the tire is less likely to be damaged. The tire has the sound absorption member of a porous material on its inner peripheral surface, and lubricant is applied to the inner peripheral surface of the sound absorption member, or alternatively, both ends in the tire width direction of the inner peripheral surface of the sound absorption member are covered with a hard protective layer.
