Abstract:
The present invention relates to a low power comparator that is useful in fields, such as that of the Internet of Things, for which the importance of power conversion efficiency is increasing, the low power comparator comprising: an input unit, which compare signals that enter a positive input terminal and a negative input terminal, so as to output voltage difference values of the two input signals; a shoot-through prevention unit for amplifying the difference in voltage values of the two signals outputted from the input unit; and an output unit for receiving an output value outputted from the shoot-through prevention unit. Since the low power comparator has low power consumption without a flowing shoot-through current, it is expected that unnecessary heating will be reduced in a digital logic circuit. In addition, it is also expected that the battery lifespan will increase through an increase in power conversion efficiency.
