Abstract:
Disclosed is a low-profile pedicle screw with an adjustment control function, comprising a screw rod (1), wherein the top of the screw rod (1) is provided with a universal ball seat (2), two sides of the universal ball seat (2) are respectively provided with an ear portion, the ear portion is provided with a locking hole, and a groove with a semicircular longitudinal section is formed between the two locking holes; and the low-profile pedicle screw further comprises a gland (3), two sides of the gland (3) are respectively provided with an ear portion, the ear portion is provided with a locking hole, a groove with a semicircular longitudinal section is arranged between the two locking holes, and the groove on the universal ball seat (2) is snapped with the groove on the gland (3) so as to form a sliding fit hole (5). The low-profile pedicle screw uses a gland (3), which can greatly reduce the profile of the tail part of the low-profile pedicle screw while sufficiently satisfying the selection of a correction rod with a relatively large diameter, and the bulb of the low-profile pedicle screw, together with the universal ball seat (2), form a pair of spherical hinges, which can rotate in any direction within the range of angles of swinging. The inner surface of the sliding fit hole (5) is provided with pointed teeth, which can effectively prevent the correction rod from rotating, and can improve the connection reliability of the low-profile pedicle screw to the correction rod.
