Abstract:

An AC-DC uninterruptible power supply, the uninterruptible power supply comprising a rectifying unit for rectifying an alternating current from a power grid and outputting a direct current; a battery control unit, a battery performing charging and discharging under the control of the battery control unit, and the battery providing a direct current output when the alternating current from the power grid is interrupted; and a switching unit for selecting an output between the direct current from the rectifying unit and the direct current from the battery. The uninterruptible power supply reduces the repeated steps of the inversion of a UPS and performing rectification of a load twice, improves the power supply utilization rate and simplifies a circuit. The cost thereof is only one fifth to one tenth of that of a traditional UPS control host. The electromagnetic radiation is reduced by 50-90%, the interference to a power grid and an electric device is greatly reduced, 5-25% of the energy can be saved, the UPS battery power supply time is extended by 5-25%, and the reliability of the UPS is greatly improved. The present invention has broad military and civilian application prospects, and is a green, energy-saving and environmentally-friendly product.
