Abstract:
The present invention provides a low SAR value cellphone antenna, the cellphone antenna comprising a housing with a mainboard arranged inside, and the mainboard is provided with a main antenna feed point; the main antenna is a PIFA antenna having two contacts. The contacts are bent and extended downwardly to be connected to the feed point of the main antenna; a planar electromagnetic crystal EBG patch is arranged above the metal ground of the mainboard and below the main antenna, the connection of said planar electromagnetic crystal EBG patch with the nearby metal ground being switched on or off to change the radiation direction of the main antenna. In this way, controlling beam pointing of the cellphone antenna can be achieved, thereby the propagation of electromagnetic waves can be controlled effectively, and hence radiation from the cellphone antenna onto human bodies can be lowered so that the SAR value of the cellphone antenna is managed within a specified range.
