Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of cables, and provides a low smoke halogen free traveling elevator cable and a manufacturing method therefor. The low smoke halogen free traveling elevator cable comprises circular conductive wire cores formed by stranding and pressing multi-stranded round copper wires for electrical purposes, and a sheath. The outer surface of each conductive wire core is coated with an insulating layer. Multiple conductive wire cores together form a first cable. Multiple cylindrical cavities arranged in parallel are disposed in the sheath. A first cable can be fixed in a cavity, and a gap is formed between adjacent conductive wire cores. Both the insulating layer and the sheath bare made of elastomer low smoke halogen free flame retardant polyolefin material. The technical problems in the prior art that easy occurrence of a core breakage in a traveling elevator cable and poor fire retardance of the outer sheath and the insulating layer and a lot of harmful gases and dense smoke during a fire are resolved.
