Abstract:
A low-smoke zero-halogen fire-resistant flexible power cable comprises, from an outer side to an inner side, a sheath layer (1), an insulation layer (2), a mica tape layer (3), and a conductive member (4). The material of the sheath layer (1) is an environmentally-friendly low-smoke zero-halogen polyolefin material having high-temperature resistance to 110℃. The material of the insulation layer (2) is a cross-linked polyethylene insulation material also having high-temperature resistance to 110℃. The mica tape layer (3) is fabricated by winding two overlapping layers of a calcined phlogopite mica tape. The conductive member (4) is fabricated by twisting multiple annealed bare copper wires. The power cable is fire-resistant up to 1050℃, extremely close to the melting point of copper. The power cable is capable of effective operation even in a major fire having a temperature higher than 950℃ and lower than the melting point of copper, thereby significantly improving safety during use, and ensuring the life safety of people.
