Abstract:
The present invention relates to a low-viscosity, fast-response liquid crystal composition and a preparation method therefor. The liquid crystal composition uses a compound represented by general formula I, a compound represented by general formula II, a compound represented by general formula III, a compound represented by general formula IV, a compound represented by general formula V, a compound represented by general formula VI and a compound represented by general formula VII as raw materials and appropriate proportioning is carried out. The synergistic effect between said components enables the liquid crystal composition of the present invention to have a sufficiently wide temperature range and fast response speed, to further have the characteristics of high-definition bright spots, large optical anisotropy, low viscosity, and excellent mutual solubility, and to be capable of adapting to low-temperature environmental conditions. Therefore, the liquid crystal composition provided by the present invention is suitable for various display devices and PDLC apparatus display, being especially suitable for PDLC apparatus display, and has outstanding performance.
