Abstract:
A lower horizontal-end steering mechanism of a foldable escalator comprises a main wheel steering step way (1) and an auxiliary wheel steering step way (2). A main wheel penetrating gap (14) is arranged between the main wheel steering step way (1) and the auxiliary wheel steering step way (2). The main wheel steering step way (1) comprises a traction chain wheel (5), a main wheel guide rail (6) and an auxiliary wheel guide rail (7) which are arranged in parallel. The auxiliary wheel steering step way (2) comprises a steering riding wheel (12) and an auxiliary wheel guide rail (18) arranged correspondingly to the auxiliary wheel guide rail (7) of the main wheel steering step way (1). The traction chain wheel (5) and the steering riding wheel (12) are synchronously driven by driving device based on equal transmission ratio. The wheel shafts of the traction chain wheel (5) and the steering riding wheel (12) are provided at same height in parallel and the distance between their shaft centers is equal with the distance between the shaft centers of the main wheel (15) and the auxiliary wheel (10) while the foldable steps are folded. The tooth number and pitch diameter of the traction chain wheel (5) and the steering riding wheel (12) are same. The phase angle of grinding tooth of the traction chain wheel (5) and the steering riding wheel (12) are equal while respectively engaging with an auxiliary wheel engaging shaft neck (11) and main wheel chain roller (4) of the foldable steps (3). The steering mechanism leads the main wheel and the auxiliary wheel of the folded foldable steps to turn synchronously, so as to realize moving and turning, and reduce the height of the lower horizontal-end step way.
