Title:
LOWLY SYMMETRIC GARNET-RELATED STRUCTURED SOLID ELECTROLYTE AND LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/203954
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are: a solid electrolyte material having a high ionic conductivity; and an all-solid-state lithium-ion secondary battery using said solid electrolyte material. This solid electrolyte material has a garnet-related structured crystalline body which has a chemical composition represented by Li7-x-yLa3Zr2-x-yTaxNbyO12 (0.05≤x+y≤0.2, x≥0, y≥0), and which is of orthorhombic system and has the crystallographic space group of Ibca. The solid electrolyte material has a lithium ion conductivity of at least 1.0×10-4 S/cm at 25°C. Further, in this solid electrolyte material, the lattice constants are 1.29 nm ≤ a ≤ 1.32 nm, 1.26 nm ≤ b ≤ 1.29 nm, and 1.29 nm ≤ c ≤1.32 nm; and three 16f sites and one 8d site in the crystal structure are occupied by lithium ions. The all-solid-state lithium-ion secondary battery according to the present invention has a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a solid electrolyte, which comprises this solid electrolyte material.
