Abstract:

The present invention discloses an ashless lubricant additive comprising an oil insoluble organic compound. Said lubricant additive can be added in high loadings in a lubricant oil to achieve desired TBN. The invention also discloses process for preparing the lubricant additive composition of the present invention.
