Abstract:

Disclosed is a lubricant composition characterized by containing an organic molybdenum compound and at least one aromatic component selected from the following (a1)-(a5): (a1) a lubricant base oil containing not less than 0.01% by mass of a polycyclic aromatic content based on the total amount of the base oil; (a2) a lubricant base oil containing 20-100% by mass of a fully aromatic content based on the total amount of the base oil; (a3) an aromatic solvent; (a4) at least one polycyclic aromatic compound selected from alkylnaphthalenes and compounds having three or more aromatic rings; and (a5) an aromatic compound having a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom.
