LUBRICANT COMPOSITION

A lubricant composition containing (1) specific organometallic compounds, (2) a specific organometallic compound and an ashless sulfur compound, (3) an organo-molybdenum compound and a specific ashless sulfur compound having a substituent, (4) a specific organo-metallic compound and a phosphorus compound, (5) an organonickel compound, or (6) a specific organometallic compound. This composition can impart far more excellent load resistance and extreme-pressure properties than those imparted by the lubricants of prior art to the area of application, and is excellent in lubricating performance at high temperatures.
