Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a lubricant oil composition capable of favorably exerting, over an extended period of time, sludge suppressing ability, and abrasion resistance assessed by scoring resistance and seizure resistance. Said problem is solved by a lubricant oil composition that contains a base oil (A), a hindered phenol-based antioxidant (B), at least one imide compound (C) selected from the group consisting of a monoamide compound (C1) and a bisamide compound (C2), and an extreme pressure agent (D). The hindered phenol-based antioxidant (B) is 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol. The monoamide compound (C1) is at least one selected from the group consisting of alkenyl succinic acid monoimide compounds and alkyl succinic acid monoamide compounds. The bisimide compound (C2) is at least one selected from the group consisting of alkenyl succinic acid bisamide compounds and alkyl succinic acid bisamide compounds.
