Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an industrial gear oil which has extremely excellent temperature viscosity characteristics, while having excellent stability of thermal oxidation resistance. [Solution] A lubricating oil composition for industrial gears, which contains 10-90% by mass of (A) a lubricant base oil that has a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of 1-100 mm2/s, a viscosity index of 100 or more and a pour point of 0°C or less and 90-10% by mass of (B) a liquid random copolymer of ethylene and an α-olefin, said random copolymer being produced using a specific catalyst (with the total of (A) and (B) being 100% by mass), and which is configured such that the kinematic viscosity at 40°C is 100-10,000 mm2/s.
