Abstract:
Disclosed is a lubricating oil for a fluid bearing, which has a low viscosity,
a reduced evaporation amount, and excellent low-temperature flowability.
Specifically disclosed is a lubricating oil for a fluid bearing, characterized
by using a highly pure diester synthesized from a carboxylic acid raw material
containing 90 mass% or more of azeralic acid and an alcohol raw material containing
90 mass% or more of 2-ethyl-1-hexanol as a base oil. Preferably, the carboxylic
acid raw material contains glutaric acid, adipic acid, pimelic acid, suberic
acid, sebacic acid and 1,9-nanomethylenedicarboxylic acid in a total amount
of 5 mass% or less.
